Congratulations to Paizo! May your Treasure Chests be full of gold and your Kobold armies be full of silly traps.
Lisa Stevens, CEO of Paizo said. "We have a healthy amount heading to Gen Con, but we think even those will go fast, so don't delay in picking up your copy!"
Does this mean there will be no copies at Gen Con?

Of course, there are still those "caught in the middle" unhappy with either, so - brace for impact.![]()

I would congratulate Paizo and all the fine people who work there, but unfortunately...
I just saw it as a dry humor. It was silly to argue that 4e selling out its first print run was meaningless, so I think some good-natured nose-tweaking is warranted. That was unnecessary. Gee--I wonder how the edition war keeps on percolating?
Kudos to James for the reasoned response, though, and a hearty congrats to Paizo. In one of my weekly groups, we're over 50 sessions into our Rise of the Runelords campaign using the Beta rules, and I can't wait to get my hands on my (preordered) book.
Looking forward to the years of Pathfinder ahead!
