That's a good question. I don't recall it saying anywhere that they do or don't, but a safe assumption would say that they do.
Well to be honest there are races in the core books that do not sleep. (Like elves) they do need rest for spells and special abilities regeneration.

I don't have a clue where a Advanced Xill is from so I'm no hope.

I honestly wasn't sure... Seems strange to bind someone to your will only to offer him or her a reward but, to be honest, Endur and mistakes are rare so I had to ask. :) (Or maybe it was said to please the angel? )

Some ooc comments about my character.

My character is not the type who would ride off to Stygia and attempt to cleanse the land of all the evil minions of Set.

However, having met someone who wants to do just that, it is obvious that my character should do everything possible to allow the Angel to accomplish his stated goal. After all, the minions of Set have tried to kill my character many times. Stygia is a nasty place, and its really unknown to the Cimmerian whether or not the Angel could accomplish it.

The Cimmerian realizes that the Angel is a fanatic on what he perceives to be a Holy Crusade. But its possible that this place may be a more appropriate target for the Angel's efforts than the Angel's previous target.

The Cimmerian is an opportunist in many ways. He has no real objections to plane-hopping (other than an aversion to casual use of magic). I could certainly see a situation where the party splits up from the Angel, and the Angel goes off on a quest to Stygia while the party plane-hops somewhere else.

I would eventually like to see what these characters are like as level 27+ characters with epic feats.

My guess is that the angel was just away to get us together... I can see him as a recurring character and maybe as one of a main antagonist. Then again I can see the same thing from the seer.

Oh I agree, it reminds me of a thread I saw on WotC board this morning (damn ENworld) anyhow they where talking about level 300 games? How? Why? I've been attached to characters before but I can't imagine pushing past 60, and that's still 3 times what we are at now... (60 is the level for most FR deities, like Sune, but some are higher.)

If I wanted to do a game of that power level, I'd play Black and White. 300th level breaks every paradigm in the game; the only thing that would matter would be your Knowledge (arcana, religion or psionics) and your Spellcraft/Psicraft. No non-caster could compete against epic spells of that magnitude.

Probably true as I said I could imagine going past 60 and EVEN then I would have issues... You better be replacing gods or ruling your own plane at that level but I still would consider it time to retire.

Sorry for the lateness of my post I've been trying since 130 PST to post but the Internet at work and ENworld have been less than corporative.

Probably should have mentioned/asked this earlier but do we have any certain order we want to go through the portal? We might have a few dragons on the other side.

At least I’m assuming the key we used to get in takes out through the same portal.

Of course assuming is morally and ethical wrong. :D

Anyone want to talk about the order?

You do remember what my character did the last time people had a discussion about who goes first through the portal.
