Level Up??

Have we gained enough experience to level up yet?

We:
1) Negotiated with the seer originally and successfully found our way onto the Astral plane;
2) Intimidated a horde of red dragons and some gith into not attacking us and letting us go where-ever we liked in their territory and do as we please;
3) Interrogated a Divine Being and captured him in shackles;
4) Intimidated a pair of powerful fiends into summoning their master rather than fighting us in combat;
5) Completed our quest by returning the Angel to the place owned by the person who sought him.

So, have we gone up a level? (looking forward to my level 21 feat)

Hey, there was real combat available. I grappled and pinned a powerful cleric. Its not my fault that all the monsters are afraid to fight our party.

If we did it would be the first time I ever leveled without real combat. :)

Which one are you taking again? :)

For level 21, I am taking Dire Charge. For level 24, I am taking Terrifying Rage. Terrifying Rage is just in case we run into a few monsters that aren't afraid of us.

Spellcasting Harrier looks interesting. I'm not sure that even that is a high enough penalty for an epic mage to fail a defensive casting check, but it will help.

THE epic feats for fighters are Dire Charge followed by Spellcasting Harrier.

You're forgetting Overwhelming and Devastating Criticals. Especially useful for raging barbarians and any ECL races with strength bonuses.
