What kind of beasties were those devils anyway? Some kind of templated Pit Fiends?

--
So, what do we do now? It's either going to take me and Bry several rounds to heal us up while the Cimmerian recuperates, or we can just toss him over a shoulder and proceed down the corridor.
Or...
Can I cast Mass Cure Serious Wounds spontaneously? It is technically a Cure spell, so it might be possible.

They weren't pit fiends; had I done to pit fiends what I did to those two, they'd have eaten you alive.

You can cast any cure or heal spell spontaneously.

I suggest we save our higher-level spells for later. I did have a ton of lower level cures but I believe I can get everyone up to full strength.

I would save it.

I wish we knew rather these things where evil or not... GE didn't detect on the Seer so I don't know how much I can do to help prepare for the next battle. But I have some We Hate Evil enchantment spells for weapons if anyone wants to try.

They almost eat my poor half-nymph anyways. :p

Did we remember seeing any other servants either time?

Cornugons?

Any.... I did not know that. That's wonderful. :)

Mass Cure Light wounds is just 5th level, I've got plenty of those. I don't remember any mention of other servants.

Go for it then... :) Do you want to take the chance that there evil?

Where there are two devils there are usually more. Besides, I suspect the Seer is evil as well, but used spells or items to disguise that from us.

Now?

Blade of the Archangel
Transmutation

Level: Ava 4, Clr 4
Components: V, S, DF
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch

Target: Weapon touched
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless, object)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless, object)

You imbue a weapon with the force of pure good and bless it with holy power. While so affected, the weapon glows with a silvery radiance and trails light through the air behind it.

For the duration of the spell, the affected weapon deals an additional 2d6 points of holy damage with each successful hit against an evil opponent. An evil creature attempting to wield the affected weapon takes a -2 sacred penalty on attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, and saving throws.

Or should we try and wait till we get closer? (I can cast it eight times total)
