[Background]
Simon Coville comes from a family involved in military service. His father was in the military as was his grandfather. Simon joined as soon as he was able (at 18). In the military he had standard military training and logged some time on military jets [Navigate and Pilot skills]. His mustered out when an opportunity for the secret service came up through his father's connections. Unfortunately, Simon?s dream to serve can true, right at the end of the President?s term.

Simon was a secret service agent for the last President. He had finally gotten his dream assignment in secret service but was pushed out when the new regime came in. Currently, he works in the Los Angeles and maintains his military contacts there. He works as a security advisor for the Sembian embassy. He is typical secret service, some time in the military, no wife, no kids, no attachments.

[DM Notes]
The ampules act as the potions, but injected and last twice as long (10 minutes). The Binoculars of Revealing gives you darksight while looking through them, and also allows you to detect shapeshifters - something valuable to the Secret Service (you managed to hold onto them when you left).

[Background]
Andrew Connal was born on the Isle of Orkney, in the far north of Britain. His parents were farmers who, despite various plant and animal diseases both mundane and magical, ran a prosperous business in livestock, wheat and potatoes. From a young age, his parents were aware that Andrew was a smart child, but due to the long-term aging that is an inherant feature of elves, his true potential was not recognised until some time into his schooling years. Andrew, despite having the knowledge to enter University, could not because he was too young to live on his own, and the nearest university was several hundred miles away. So for most of his childhood, he helped on the farm and learned languages. Once he was old enough, he left Orkney and became a student of Physics and Electronics at Cambridge, completing the entire course in just 2 years. This astonishing achievement meant he was immediately offered jobs at several electronics firms worldwide, from Australia to Zhentil Industries in Boston. The job he finally accepted was in the American branch of the British company Electrovisual Inc., based in Los Angeles, California. Since then, he spent almost all his time in his laboratory, even trancing there when working on important projects. After two years of this, due to the Large overtime wages coupled with concerns about his mental health, Andrew was ordered onto a two month paid vacation by Electrovisual. So far, he's spent three days of it taking his work's advice and relaxing in cafes, parks and pubs, and catching up on his reading.

[DM Notes]
The PDC Vitamins are a gift from mum and dad - when taken, they immediately allow a second saving throw against any poison or disease. The Lightning Bullets arc a bolt of lightning between your gun and the target, doing an additional +1d6 damage. The chip is just that - a magical cpu chip that bears no manufacturer's ID, and thus far has resisted your attempts to determine exactly what it can do. You found it slipped under your door the day after you left Electrovisual, in a static bag with your name written hastily on it.

[Background]
Born on a Cherokee reservation in central Oklahoma, he was given the name "Hunter" as a toddler when he exibited a propensity for stalking the family labrador. He was raised as most Cherokee are in the modern world, but also kept close to his people's traditions. He grew up there and lived happily as a rebellious teenager until the call of the outside finally brought him into the embrace of the big cities. He travelled for a few years as little more than a vegabond before being recruited in Talahasee, Florida by the Marines.

In the Marines, he excelled at physical training and field trials. He was already quick as a cat, but the instruction only made him better. Not only was he adept at military life, he enjoyed it, and enrolled in Recon school to further his training.

In Recon, he earned the callsign "Whisper" for his knack at getting around quietly, and his calm demeanor. During a two day leave just before graduation, he was at a bar with a handful of his fellow soldiers when a fight broke out. They attempted to break up the fight but tensions escalated, weapons were drawn, and before it was all over, three people were dead, two were paralyzed, and untold bones were broken.

In the subsequent trial, Whisper was court-marshalled for manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to fifteen years in prison with chance for parole in five. Having only recently been released on parole, Whisper has built up a stronghold of bitterness within himself. He can be quick to anger, but equally quick to remember the life he has just left. On the inside, he was forced to be a sheep. Military prison will do that to a man. The fights were common, and the guards often encouraged it, only to fire some tear gas or rubber bullets into the crowd when it was all over.

Now he's looking for somewhere to fit. There is always the option of home, back on the reservation, but he won't allow himself to go crawling back there. So he rides the open roads until he finds a new home.

Description: Whisper has a well-muscled but lithe physique lending itself to quick, powerful motions and strong athletic performance. He is 6'0, 190 lbs, with black hair, black eyes, and deeply tanned skin from wearing a shirt as little as possible. He has little natural body hair and keeps his face and head shaved.

[DM Notes]
The Steeled gloves look like simple black leather - in poor condition, too - but they hit as if your hand was wrapped in a thin layer of steel (+1 to Hit, +1 Damage). You expected them to be gone when you got out of prison, but they were there, along with the clothes that you wore that night in the bar.

Also, take a look at your character (specifically AC). Let me know if I did anything wrong!

Tori de la Cruz grew up in Los Angeles, in the Barrio of East L.A. The young Elf was part of the emigration from Maztica of the Rodriguez crime family back in the 1960s. Tori, born Victoria Gabriella Rodriguez, takes her name from the small white cross-shaped mark on her left bicep, a mystery to her and to the doctor that delivered her. Tori earns a living as a Snoop, moving from a Private Investigator, to a Tabs-Keeper, shadowing and spying on people for money. Tori will not act or serve malicious people if possible. Tori has delved deeply into matters Arcane, her goal to one day become a Mage herself. Tori has taken a job in a Library as well, though her Snooping provides the bulk of her income.

Tori de la Cruz is a comely young Elfess, with short hair cut at shoulder length. Tori's usual dress while in casual mode is black slacks and combat boots, with a shirt of some light color, although she does wear more formal clothes, as well as 'girly' things when the need arises.

Tori has 2 brothers and her mother as family, her father was killed in a territory dispute with a rival Family some 10 years ago.

[DM's Notes]
Haseem's Scanner acts as a Comprehend Languages for written documents, translating them to english (or any desired language). It is handheld, can hold up to 20 pages, and uses a USB port. Your Shadowed Jacket allows you to blend into the shadows a bit more than usual (+5 to Hide).
