[PC GEN] Is COC supported yet?

Sorry, PCGen got in trouble during Gen Con for having non-SRD stuff on their program. Currently they are only covering SRD and some OGL stuff. Since COC isn't OGL I don't think they are allowed to support it.

Apparently they are waiting to hear on the decision by WotC on what if any non-SRD stuff they can use. They are in negotiation right now. Unfortunately they need both WotC and Chaosiums permission to include it. As they keep saying, be patient.

Quite right. We are still in negotiations, they are proceeding, no I can't say where we are in them, but they do go forward.

As an opinion, I think they're going well. That's not based on anything concrete, just the gut feeling I have about it, and how well the folk at Wizards have been in dealing with us on it.

By all means they have to do what's in their best interest as a company (protecting their material and whatnot), but it's also in their best interest to support the gamers, and I think that's the thing they're working from - 'How do we support the gaming community and still protect our rights at the same time'...

*shrug* As soon as we know, we'll let everyone else know.

Oh, and yes, it would be Wizards AND Chaosium we'd have to obtain permission from.
