Pc Gen Problems

Ok, w while back i was having issues trying to make Starwars characters with Pc Gen. Now that i have upgraded to the newest 2.7 version it works. but now whenever i try and utilize the hp adjuster, or in the inventory, i go to make a costum item, the screen freezes on me, and will not close........any sugestions?

1. tried updating Java
2. Removed entire Pc Gen directory and unzipped files into new folder.

did you uninstall java or just over write it?

what version of pcgen? 2.7.2?

Where is it freezing at? (When i try to edit Hit points, or create a custom item, the little screen that pops up, will freeze and i cannot do anything with it. but i can go back to the main prog. and continue the creation. it just will not let me edit items especially.)

ok download the latest version. Unzip it to a new folder and then tell me if you still get the error. Create a new PC and all and see what happens.

Also goto the help menu and turn on the debug mode, that will allow us to shoot back where the application is crashing.

Thanks for the info, i as able to fix it, it seems like it was a combo of issues, for one, my Java got corrupt some how, so i had to totally remove it and re-install. and two, i did not realize that i had a dangerously low amount of system resources, not knowing that my girlfriend had put a bunch of crap on thier and it was all running in the background.

after some playing around, it runs nice and smooth now!
