allright, since GuiltPuppy seems AWOL, I'll NPC him for now.

IG: "Well, good news at last.. I've managed to contact his spirit, and through the glory of Pelor, have reunited it with its newly formed body." He steps to the side and the Ranger steps out, heading straight for his friends. They are obviously glad to see him again, even the Drow, who looks over to Eigan, nodding and smiling for a moment before he moves over to his friends.

They converse for a moment and then Jordan (the druid) steps out to adress you.
"We would like to thank you for saving us... ALL of us." he says, glancing at Perin the Ranger. "It's rather obvious that you are the heroes of legend, and that whatever destroyed Mar'san is more powerful than anything we've ever faced.. If it is all right with you, we'll return to the kingdom and try to keep things in line while you deal with.. whatever this is." He sighs and looks back at his friends "I wish there were more we could do to help, but.."

Estefan rests outside of the tower with his animal companions and his niece.

"It was horrible," he says to her, "the creature was tossing about death wherever he wiggled his fingers. I am afraid we have something quite mysterious here."

He thoughtfully taps his staff, a strained look upon his face. "They mentioned that the creature was possibly undead, but were unable to tell for sure. Maybe another trip to the site will help us discover more." He looks to everyone present, "Will you all join me?"

Oonru and Hatha give a grunt of affirmative, and Niura settles on Estefan's shoulder. The druid looks to Aradia for her answer.

[ooc: Estefan walked outside the tower and was speaking to Aradia and his animal companions...but he would be more than happy to have you along when they ascend the tower to ask Verdane to send them back! :) ]

(I'm back... Posted an "I'll be gone thread" in TTT, but it was kind of abrupt... Less abrupt, but equally inconvenient: I'll be gone from August 1-14. I may have internet access at some points during this period.)

"I'd prefer to know more before asking the Shining One directly -- to come with questions worthy of his audience. Let's be off, then, to Mar'San... And the surrounding towns, while we're at it. There is often a kernel of truth in the rumors of the common folk -- sometimes one larger than that in the words of learned men."

He looks at Verdane, with a friendly smile.

"Just sometimes!"

The group of heroes readies themselves to leave and keep an eye on the rest of the realm, while you all prepare to go to Mar'san. (I'm assuing you'll be using the mirror, but how're u getting the animals there, Oonru and Hatha are rather alrge to fit through there.. Unless you leave them to 'guard' the tower)

You step back through the mirror to Mar'san as the 'heroes' teleport off to different corners of the lands to keep the peace and perhaps try to find something useful.

As you arrive in the area where Mar'san used to be (But now nothing remains but barren ground), you notice that the eclipse from before is gone, and the sun is high in the sky, allowing you to see clearly. What you see, however, is nothing but desolate land, scorched in places from the fiery blasts of your recent battle. There is no sign of the man you fought.

"It is possible for me to attempt to locate him more directly, although I suspect that any such attempt on my part will face immediate repercussions, which we may be unable to deal with adequately at the moment. We should simply look about for any obvious clues first." Verdane casts the detect scrying dweomer and then begins inspecting the area, paying special attention to discern the blast direction of the devastation. Hopefully, he will be able to tell if the annihilation of Mar'sun is the result of one or multiple blasts.
