EDIT: Hey, if a moderator's around, can you change that second d6 to a d8? You really should let posters be able to edit their own polls, you know. Typos can and do happen.

Changed.

Never ever heard anyone yell "natural 20" in a game. I think the whole thing is a conspiracy! :)

Well- not sure about the conspiracy thing, but yeah- I can relate. I can't say I remember in my last 20 years of gaming anyone actually yelling "natural 20" (when they rolled a 20).

I support the d12. Never has any other die type been so maligned, so underappreciated. But when have we been able to live without it? From damage vs. size L creatures from a longsword to damage from a mummy, from barbarian HD in 1e to barbarian and UNDEAD HD in 3e.

d12.... I am your father.

maybe it's years of indoctrination by the Storyteller system, but I am always fond of my d10's. Not those d20's that masquerade (;)) as d10's mind, but the real thing, those lovely pointy decahedrons! I have boxes of the things, even more than the buckets of d6's acquired for WFRPs and Shadowrun.

Long Live D10!

well

My party always yelled... "Natural die twenty!"

Voted for d6

Played Earthdawn a long time and I loved step 8 = 2d6

Thou I do sympathize with the d4´s that can become caltrops as has been mentioned before... you cant beat d6´s for building blocks. They stack up much better than d8 and d10... really helps during those long roleplaying sessions... >:)

"Twenty!!"

We always used to yell "20!!" (the "natural" part was a given. So too "Die" for that matter.) Now we tend to be more cool about it. The die rocks up a twenty and we lean back smiling smugly as if we actually had something to do with it.
Does anybody else out there curse "one off a twenty" when they roll a seven? ;)
