Peerless Archer

Anyone know if there's some 2e stuff on the High Forest? Something donwloadable, hopefully.

Don't know. Could be that there's some older stuff, but I think that they wanted to focus on fresh areas or on ones that were done a long time ago, not just the stuff they did last in 2e, which would mean only a couple of pages worth of the update on the timeline, and maybe another couple of pages worth of rules, as area books have much more RP info than rule info

Peerless Archer

Minimum 7th level to qualify, plus Quick Draw and 3 archery feats.

HD = d10, 2 skill points per level, skill list comparable to Fighters with a few of the good Ranger skills thrown in.

Bonus to bowmaking skill checks

4d6 to ranged sneak attacks over 10 levels

Sharp-shooting - Peerless Archer gets progressively better at ignoring cover, eventually ignoring up to 3 steps of cover or concealment. This doesn't work against total cover.

Fletching - gains the ability to craft magic arrows, up to +5, even without the item creation feat; pays gold and XP costs, as normal
[edit - pays only half the gold cost, but full XP]

Power Shot - like Power Attack applied to ranged attacks

Threatens nearby areas with a bow, as if using melee weapon
