Petition For Wizards To Not Publish A PoL Map

Since a 'petition' for now exists it only seems fair that a petition against also exist.

Besides, I didn't want to 'thread-excrete' and state that I thought it was a sucky idea.

If only there was a "don't care either way option..." If POL was to have an entire fleshed out campaign setting book I'd say yes, but since its only basically a hodge podge of ideas and locations which could be plopped down into any campaign then I say no.

The only reason I care (and I really don't care that much) is because I hate how things published in the core books tend to become "sacred cows."

And yeah, I thought about making a comment in the other post, but the OP specifically stated that only posts in agreement were desired.

This is what's called "playing well with others" and is specifically the sort of stuff posters here should try harder to do.

Maybe they could make a PoL map that was blank on the back. People who want the PoL map could use the map side, those that don't could use the blank side for there own map.

EDIT: Boo!! Plane Sailing closed the thread that best represented how I feel (many maps). Can we get a poll here? I want a Map-a-Month feature from WotC! I'd also buy a book (PDF format, for printing) of just maps with terrain and rivers marked, with the details to be filled in by me.

I say we petition to start a petition to form a comittee to decide whether or not we should petititon wizards of the coast to create a PoL map for the new 4th edition.
