[Petz] Bank interest?

I've tried to repeatedly change my time zone to get to midnight several times per day, but I haven't got more money. It probably uses some fixed hour.

First part, there could be the small snag about them being swedish and making lawsuits in the US as foreigners is pretty difficult.
Why on earth would they sue in the US? They can do it perfectly well at home, in Sweden! Sweden has a legal system and everything, y'know! :)

Wizards is in the USA, though.

BTW, with a 5% interest, leaving your money in the bank for 1 year will approximately multiply it by a factor of more than 50 millions. One year from now, I could very well have around 27105920788 money. Assuming that I stop posting. Which is a bit like assuming that the sun will not rise.

Even with a 2% interest, though, your money is multiplied by more than 1300. Much less, but still a helluva lot. But it would mean no monies for healing unless you post a lot or fight very little.

Don't you have to love exponentials? Interest is definitely going to give a big advantage to "old players". I think that a cap to what the bank can hold could be appropriate. Something like 10000. It would kill the exponential nature of interest without impacting poor people. Is it already in place?

So? These days, being in a different country isn't much defence to copyright infringement (unless you're in a country like China which refuses to acknowledge international agreements on such things). If WotC operates in Sweden, WotC can be sued in Sweden, and is subject to Swedish laws (including international copyright treaties which Sweden has signed, and which the US has also signed). If they don't operate in Sweden, there's no case. Not that I think there's a case here anyway - I'm just discussing the concept of international lawsuits.

Lawsuits here are nothing like in the States.

If someone falls down a flawed ladder for instance, and sustain severe back injury, he will get insurance money from the companies insurance if he wins the trial. The company will probably also be fined something in the range of a $1,000-$10,000 in punitive damage, but that's it.
