Why on earth would they sue in the US? They can do it perfectly well at home, in Sweden! Sweden has a legal system and everything, y'know!AGGEMAM said:First part, there could be the small snag about them being swedish and making lawsuits in the US as foreigners is pretty difficult.
So? These days, being in a different country isn't much defence to copyright infringement (unless you're in a country like China which refuses to acknowledge international agreements on such things). If WotC operates in Sweden, WotC can be sued in Sweden, and is subject to Swedish laws (including international copyright treaties which Sweden has signed, and which the US has also signed). If they don't operate in Sweden, there's no case. Not that I think there's a case here anyway - I'm just discussing the concept of international lawsuits.Zappo said:Wizards is in the USA, though.
