Crothian First Post Apr 26, 2004 #4 it wasn't a very serious thread, so no need annoying the people in meta with it
Morrus Well, that was fun Staff member Apr 27, 2004 #5 Heh. I really wish I could add more pet types - it'd all certainly have more of a D&D theme to it then!

There's a background that shows the outline of the dog, cat, etc. The foreground shows the eyes and mouth, and that has 100 different ones. Adding new animals would not be that difficult. I really must download the code and start tinkering. Cheers!

Morrus Well, that was fun Staff member Apr 27, 2004 #9 Nope. There are 100 facial expressions AND 100 gifs for each animal (each with a gap for the face). For example, a dog100 has its ears pricked up and alert, while dog1 has its ears drooping. The 100 pet images for each animal represent health; the 100 facial expressions represent happiness.

MerricB Eternal Optimist Supporter Apr 27, 2004 #10 Oh right - got it. Mind you, an ooze picture couldn't be that difficult to do 100 times. Cheers!
