Since everything seems to be going on about art, I have a question.

On page 80-81, Liddia is dodging a lightning bolt. But, the lightning bolt is coming from someone In Armor. From, I think, a Wand.

Now, my guess is, this guy's a cleric. Otherwise... Can someone Please tell me what's going on? How can that guy cast that? He's a cleric; they can't use lightning bolts.

My two thoughts are either this is a rogue in heavy disguise, using UMD, or this is a cleric with the Magic domain.

Any thoughts?

Well, your working under the flawed assumption that that's a lightning bolt she's dodging. Lightning bolts are 5ft wide (or more!). That ray is only an inch or two wide.

It's a zigzaggy blue thing. What else could it be?

Doesn't look like a Searing Light (Clerical Ray spell), what else could it be?

A well known spell called Artistic License.
You notice it a gets cast a lot when you compare creature descriptions to their artwork.

And here I thought it was depicting some evasive action from the thief, and rays have nothing to do in regards to Ref saves.

Of course, it could have to do with Dodge, since Dodge is one of the feats on that page...

And IIRC the caption says "Lidda dodges a ray spell cast by an evil cleric."
