Pick Your Perfect X-Men Team!

Here's the challenge:

Pick your favorite X-men to make the ultimate (in your humble opinion) X-Men team. All heroes are acceptable (dead or alive), as well as villains that were heroes at one time or another.

The format is in the old Blue/Gold two team mold and each team has 5 members. The first team (Team Blue) is the Strike or Assault Team. The second team (Team Gold) Is the Support Team. Also post the Team Leader, who falls outside of the 5 Blue members and 5 Gold members for a total of 11 X-Men.

Great teams! I toyed with the idea of Magneto as the leader, but felt that Cyclops with his years of experience in Helping people and doing the right thing would make him a bit more effective.

I always liked that idea of conflict and tension with having Magneto as the leader. The reason it'd work is because by the same token, they all have tremendous respect for his power and intelligence, as well as a bit of sympathy/comraderie.

Of course, Wolverine would still probably just want to tear him a new one!
