Politically Incorrect Games (PIG) has released an updated version of their heroic fantasy roleplaying game, Iron Gauntlets(tm). This update matches the new content found in the Expanded Edition Softcover due out next month, except that system, setting, and adventure components are available separately in PDF form.
Designed with dynamic, easy to learn rules, Iron Gauntlets is perfect for experienced roleplayers looking for flexibility or as an introduction to novice gamers by an experienced gamemaster. No spell lists mean you don't have to flip through lots of pages to find out what a spell does. And not all magic is the same -- 4 different styles of magic provide unique dynamic effects in a consistent manner.
This new edition edition is free to existing customers, and features new player races, skills, styles, backgrounds, vocations, gimmicks, and creatures. Plus new rules and options, and add-on diceless and 2d6 playability make this an extremely versatile game.
The updated version of Iron Gauntlets and The Chronicles of Amherth (the setting guide) are available directly from PIG, RPGNow, DriveThruRPG, and coming soon to Steve Jackson's e23 store. The Expanded Edition Softcover is due out early October from PIG and your local game shop. Distributors and retailers can order it from our consolidator, Key 20 Direct ( http://www.key20.com ).
If you're looking for fantasy roleplaying without all the classes, levels, and excessive rules, or just prefer efficient and versatile mechanics, Iron Gauntlets is for you.
