Pimp My Druid!

FWIW, the Greenbound Summoning author showed up on the ENW boards a while back to explain that there were editing errors in that feat. (As most of you who have read it should suspect . . . )

Fastest build to Pounce? IIRC that's druid6 with that Wild Feat at level 6...

Druid5/Monk1 works too.

Yeah, but those builds do diddly in damage. A mounted lancer Shock Trooper with pounce -- now THAT's where the big damage is! Spikes + wooden lance is just savory gravy on top of all that two-handed Power Attack triple-damage Spirted Charge goodness.

Right. That UA variant druid with rage and good str to start with... wildshaped into a bear or something similar, THEN using Pounce... that's better.

Ah well. Give him Power Attack too. And don't forget Stunning Fist, Produce Flame, Bulls Strength... and perhaps your DM might be sick and you might take a level of monk plus these barbarian abilities.

I know, it's not too strong but fun.

Do you remember what they were, or where I can find the thread? I've always liked the idea of the feat, on a conceptual level, but I'm leery of the overpoweredness. Modifying it back to the author's original version might be a useful compromise...

I believe he said it was supposed to modify a spell by +2 or +3 spell levels. Which, IIRC, doesn't entirely help the wall of thorns brokenness, but balances out other factors. The thread was from over a year ago, so I don't know if it's still around. You could ask a mod or someone.

Yeah, but druids that don't take natural spell at level 6 get laughed at.
Right. Yet, if I'd play a melee oriented raging wolverine type druid, I might forget about spellcasting during combats. ;)
