Pirate dress code question

It depends on whether you sleep with your beard under your blanket, or over your blanket. If you sleep with your beard under the blanket, then the sash must also go under the belt. If you sleep with your beard over the blanket, then the sash also goes over the belt. It's a symmetry thing, you see.

If you don't have a beard, you are not allowed to wear a belt. It's a taste thing, you see.

Hope this helps!

C'mon, hong. If you don't have a beard you're not allowed to wear a sash. I'd hate to think that all cleanshaven pirates are required to wear suspenders.

Really.
I've got an office costume party thingy I have to attend this evening. I've got the pistol and cutlass to tuck in my belt, and a pretty red sash to accent the veins in my eyes (so pretty!). But I don't know which goes on first.

Well, that was because without a belt or suspenders, you decided not to wear pants at all. Even for pirates, that's a pretty egregious faux pas. Or fox pass, as someone I know once said.

BVB; I'd say either do whatever you like, or search the internet for some pirate pictures you can emulate.

I havn't a clue.

However, I do know that all pirates need one of these:
