This is for a character in an upcoming campaign, and the DM has suggested we write personalized paragon paths for our characters. I'm looking to create a two weapon paragon path for a ranger that has powers to best represent a pirate. Not the eyepatch and pegleg pirate, but the Orlando Bloom / Princess Bride etc style ranger. It has been allowed that some of the abilities have a hit of leader role to them. The character is a tough, take action, longtooth shifter who is first mate of a well known pirate vessel.
Please share any ranger powers or abilities that follow the same formula used in the books, with a piratey feel!

I'll kick us off:
Dirty Tricks (11th level)
When your quarry is struck twice in one round, they are knocked prone. When struck thrice in one round, they are stunned.
Pirate Lords Action (11th level)
When you spend an action point... +4 to attacks for one round? Shift equal to dex modifier? Gain combat advantage on enemies equal to wis modifier for one round?

Cutting Retort - Pirate Lord Encounter 11
By leaving yourself deceptively vulnerable for a strike you are able to lash out and leave your foe reeling in pain.
Encounter * Martial
Immeditate Interrupt Weapon
Trigger: an adjacent enemy hits you with an attack
Target: the enemy that hit you
Attack: Strength vs AC
Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier damage, and the enemy is blinded.
Effect: Shift a number of spaces equal to your wisdom modifier.
Favorable Tradewinds - Pirate Lord Utility 12
Like a hurricane you ride the tradewinds and knock enemies overboard.
Encounter * Martial
Free action
Effect: All attacks for one round push enemies squares equal to your dex modifier. You may shift up to your dex modifier in the same direction.
Piercing Winds - Pirate Lord Daily 20
You channel wind essence into your weapon and unleash a fierce assault of destructive wind. Enemies are held at bay as their skin ruptures.
Daily * Martial
Close Blast 5
Attack: Strength vs Reflex
Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier to all enemies. Ongoing damage 5 (save ends). Enemies are slowed for one round.
Miss: Enemies are slowed for one round.
