I liked both of the movies and am really looking forward to this one.

One thing I have never understood was the " Jack was not as evil in the first movie" way of thinking.

I disagree on that I think he would have sold Will and Elizabeth if there was no other way to get the Black Pearl. He just didn't have to.

I have a costume ready to go, if needed. I'll only do it for a midnight opening, though- I don't see the point otherwise. Shows other than midnight releases just don't have that same "party" atmosphere.

But WOW, that trailer blew me away. I greatly enjoyed both of the previous PotC movies, and don't really understand how anybody could find #2 boring- confusing to some, maybe, but then the plot was meant as a setup to the third and I knew that going in (hearing that movies 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back LotR-style made that obvious). And given that the ending had to be a cliffhanger, I think they wrapped it up rather well.

I had a crazy thought. What if they got the licensing to have one of the pirate kings be aboard The Revenge?
