Planar Ally/Binding spells?

What happens if the creature in question has a very low Int/Wis score? i.e. if you were to call some kind of ooze with no Int then how could you bargain with it?

Just a hypothetical question...

Presumably you would bargain with whatever being is sending you the Planar Ally. With Planar Bining you couldn't bargain with it unless you had some means of communicating. If it ere completely unintelligent (rather than just a really low int) it couldn't bargain with you. Effectively you will have trapped a creature for no reason other than to trap it.

I didn't have a particular creature in mind. Just a hypothetical question (especially relevant should someone be summoning planar allies that serve Ghaunadour, for example).

Um...

I guess you cast Charm Monster on it and have it follow you around like some sort of highly corrosive puppy? Or herd to some particular spot that you want it to guard?

Summoning creatures that you can't communicate with is a waste of time and effort if you want the thing to be more than just cannon fodder.

I'd say it would have to be pretty difficult to bargain with an ooze, considering that a creature needs at least an int of 3 to be able to communicate verbally.

On the other hand, I SOOOO want to create a Charm Rock spell just now. It's still a rock, it just likes you alot.
