Planar Handbook; Chaotician; Babble Ability Duration Errata?

Quick Question;

The Chaotician Prestige Class from the Planar Handbook has a Babble Special Ability it can evoke.

It basically turns all Verbal Communication in 10' radius into garbage (including Verbal Components and Spell Trigger Items).

Problem is there in no duration mentioned & the Planar Handbook does not seem to have an Errata on the Website.

Has there been an 'Official' Clarification on this? (Dragon Magazine, WoTC Forum, etc).

I have a feeling it's going to be 1 round per class level like most of the other abilities, but I'm just checking to see if anyone knows an 'Official' Source.

Or better yet, an Errata file for the Planar Handbook.

I thought it lasted as long as they continue to babble. They only get it once per day and 10' radius.

Ok...

Is it a Standard Action to begin Babbling? (That Also is not mentioned).

I'd sorrt of assumed it was just your psuedo-spell-like ability. One where you spend a Standard Action to erect effect X for Y amount of time.

I sort of like the idea of it being based on how long the Character Babbles.

I'll re-read how Bardic Music Works and maybe base the Rules Mechanics (severely lacking for that ability) on the Bardic Music Ability.

PS. My players picked up a Slaad "Follower" (for now) that also happens to be a 5th level Chaotician. As it is a NPC I'm not so worried how the ability functions. If one of the Players is really interested in picking up the PrC (most are CN, so it is possible), then I'd want to be able to give a concrete answer for how the ability works (official or otherwise).

Chaotician is the PrC for Xaositects' faction, it is a fairly elite group, YMMV.

The table says SU abilities should take a standard action and not provoke. Gibbering mouthers can commence to gibbering as a free action...It is also a SU ability.
