Planetouched Core Races

So, looking at the Aasimar and tiefling races in the 3.5 MM and the 3.o FRCS, I notice that they basically apply to humans mostly. But since the advent of 3.0, we know that fiends, angels, and dragons pretty much nail anyhting in sight :D. So what are the stats for planetouched members of other races. I could build a good case for Earth Gennasi Dwarf, a Water Genassi sea-elf, etc.. I'm guessing it means applying a template to the base class, that adds a +1 LA. For example, the Aasimar gains the following:
  • +2 Wis +2cha
  • Size: Same as base creature
  • Speed: Same as base creature
  • +2 racial bonus to spot an listen checks
  • Darkvision 60'
  • Native Outsider
  • Favored Class: Paladin
  • acid, cold, electricity resistance 5
  • Light: Aasimar can use light once per day as a sorc of their character level.
  • LA +1
So I could apply this template (and develop similar ones for other planetouched types) to any race I want.

Basically, I wanto know if this appears anywere. I don't have Savage Species, but a friend told me he couldn't find anything there. Also, am I correct that:
1)An earth genassi (who gains Darkvision 60') dwarf (who gains Darkvision 60') would have Darkvision 60' .
2) An aasimar half elf's racial bonus to spot and listen would rise from +1 to +2, instead of stacking.

By the way, I don't really agree with the favored class: paladin of the aasimar. I don't see any reason why they'd be more pre-disposed to Paladin than Sorcerer (he has a spell like ability), or cleric (+2 Wis is very attractive, +2 Cha does not hurt the turning). Besides isn't it more likely that Chaotic celestials are sleeping around than those Lawful ones :D .

Not in any official form, AFAIK.

Because their heritage is that of the purest essence of good? ;) I think its more a theme than an issue of balance, to be honest.

I get that. But I don't buy it, because in th tiefling description, I get the idea that they aren't inherently evil, but that their underdog staus leads them generally to living on the edge of the law.... hence rogue. But it also says that tieflings can be non-evil, even good. You could play a tiefling Paladin if you wanted, probably focusing on an archery path. That be a nice character to role-play, but probably not that much fun to roll-play (-2 to your allegedly most important attribute).

So since DnD is a world of perfect opposites (Evil Good, Law Chaos), if the tiefling's nature isn't pre-ordainred, why should the Aasimar be?

I know why it's Paladin, I just don't buy it. ;)

I get you, plus the whole paladin multiclassing thing doesn't work very well under the current rules. Oh sure, its possible, its just not easy. You either have to grab whatever class you want in addition to paladin so you don't start as a paladin or get your last few levels as your multiclass (assuming you arn't going epic). Doesn't seem very condusive to multiclassing the paladin.

I had an NPC tiefling paladin in a game I ran a year or so ago. She was a very intersting paladin, seemingly non-emotional and not accepting much from the PCs in terms of flak. Great game that was!

Yup, besides having bonuses to dex and int, but losing cha tend to make you different from the big dumb MIMBO (male bimbo from Seinfeld) :D .
