Could start at the end of one page, and end at the beginning of another, I suppose.
Yea, page starts aren't going to give us much info, since there could be any number of tables or artwork in between.

It's nice to see Dragonborn and Gnome in the same PHB for the first time. :)
 

Elves always had a zillion subraces as creatures of chaos, different environmental conditions seems to have a tendency to create many sub-race variations/mutations...

Granted I think it'll only be High, Wood and Drow. But that's still more than what other races will probably get.
