5.5 because it's like 3.5. New core books that upgrade and fix the old core.
Tasha didnt straight up replace anything. this new core does.

That'll be very confusing for old-time Magic players, as "Revised" in Magic was in effect its 3rd edition...Revised 5e is what's on the official branding, so that's what I'm using for now.
Haw! Really? I mean, the word "Revised" has been used for a lot more things than just Magic. I really hope you're kidding. That'll be very confusing for old-time Magic players, as "Revised" in Magic was in effect its 3rd edition...

I'm just waiting for D&D: Ice Age.That'll be very confusing for old-time Magic players, as "Revised" in Magic was in effect its 3rd edition...
so far I would say the game is going to change as much as it did between 1e and 2e or 3e and 3.5.Based upon playtests, different visions for classes, and etc...
How has the playstyle changed from 5E to 5.5E?
as much as all d20 systems are D&DDoes ze game remain ze same?
Is 5.5 really going to stick?
My guess is that the 5e math will last past this revision to maybe several more - assuming the power creep doesn't destroy it.5.5 because it's like 3.5. New core books that upgrade and fix the old core.

They can call it whatever they want but at the end of the day WotC will expect everyone to buy a new Core 3 every 5-10 years. With probably some major update book like Tasha’s in the middle. My guess is that the 5e math will last past this revision to maybe several more - assuming the power creep doesn't destroy it.
