Hi everyone!
Ok so ive had a big change in this design process because ive basically stopped trying to tailor these races to be playable, and instead making them NPC races for the moment. Some are way to big and scary for players to be (Monstrous races) and being a newish DM i think its safer if they are only under my control and arnt going to totally unbalance the game.
Anyway ive included total approximations of LA/CR (is LA/CR the same thing?) and any suggestions you have on these new versions would be greatly appreciated! Im really looking to balance them (to the closest LA/CR) and also to find some interesting disadvanatges to give them (Ie Jare' and daylight blindness)
Also with the whole "Whiskers" concept i still havnt found a good feat to approximate that. Something that gives them extra sense of air movement around themselves and so helps them understand the area and especially sensitivity to movement near them. Hence under feats ive put *Whiskers*

Id love to approximate this but if its too hard then i can always get rid of it.

Other things i thought worth including
So since i havnt come even close to finalising these creatures i figured this was worth including. Also im really interested in some disadvantage type feats (like Bronts Katara have the Wondering mind feat (hence i included it))
If there are any you guys know which you think are worth mentioning would love to hear your suggestions!
Mounterous Abilities which Fit:
Pounce: When creatures with this special attack make a charge, they can follow with a full attack-including rake attacks if the creature also has the rake ability.
Scent: Allows creatures to detect approching enemies, sniff out hidden foes and track by sense of smell, can idenifty familiar odors just as humans can identify using sight.
Rake: creature gains an extra natural attack when it grapples its foe without a -4 pentaly to attack. Must grapple then rake in turn, cant rake and grapple in the same turn.
Possible Bonus Feats which fit (Thanks Bront!):
Keen Ears - +2 racial bonus to Listen,
Natural Grace - +2 racial bonus to Move Silently, Balance, and Tumble. Balance is always a class skill.
Incredible Leap - +8 racial bonus to Jump
Wandering Mind - -1 save vs enchantment/charm effects, -2 racial penalty to sense motive and concentration checks (Katara are extremely curious and as a result, their minds often wander, overlooking dangers most might otherwise see)
