3.0 enlarge doesn't make you large.

50% of 6 ft is 3 ft
so of you are 9 ft. tall
and you need to be 8 ft tall to be lage

you won't be large for long, but you can use magic object like a ring if the new form can wear ring.

Not true. Even though you were 9 feet tall and a Large creature it didn't change your size category. It didn't make any sense. Then again, Enlarge doesn't make much sense in 3.5 either.

I might be misinterpreting the purpose, but I'm not trying to clarify a rule - I'm trying to figure out which forms are most abusive. If that's also what the Rule forum is for - then by all means, shuffle this thread on over!

For polymorph self abuse, forms with multiple arms are often helpful.

It does make sense if you look at it in context: in order to gain any advantage from a size increase, you must double your starting size. That's how the size categories are laid out, and that's a way in which enlarge is restricted.
