Evocations are Reflex saves, Enchantments are Will saves, Necromancies are Fort saves. Just take the regular saving throw feats as your specialist defense.

Each specialist defense feat protects against 1/6 or so of magical spell attacks (ignoring Div and Abjuration). Each normal save feat protects against 1/3 of save based attacks and works against supernatural abilities.

Yes I know all those things. But if I was playing a specialist wizard its a feat I would definitly consider...because it makes sense for the character which is one of the number one factors for me in choosing things for a character

There is nothing wrong with the concept, just the execution. In practice, the spell offers no advantage over IW/GF/LR, and it has stronger prequisites and does not take into account the possible introduction of superceeding feats that would be also broader in application.

If the feat were strengthened, it would be a very nice feat.

I agree fully Celebrim. My point is, the strength of a feat spell or whatever isnt the only factor in wether its "good" or worth taking.
