Please review these house rules---all input much appreciated.

...This too is wrong....

No it's not "wrong", it's just a matter of opinion. The OP asked for input, and I gave my opinion. For you to then come along and call it "wrong" is rude and I am offended by it.

Frankly, a group can use house rules all day long, and as long as they are happy, more power to them. However, eventually what they are playing is no longer the system they started with and it would be easier to play another system. In my OPINION, he passed that stage somewhere around "Grappling is a useless pain in the ass and does not exist." But thats just my opinion.

Just from a quick read through I would never play a rogue in this set up or a monk. Rogue because of skills being removed and sneak attack limitations. Monk because of stat item removal and armor bonus from magic restriction. Monks rely heavily on both of these imho. I basically see this as moving my options of classes to play to 2. Wizard or druid. If I wanted to play a melee character the only way I would go would be druid. Wild shape into a bear and your strength and damage will far outpace any fighter or barbarian without str items or weapon of speed. With restrictions on saving throws and higher DCs on spells with 10+stat+.5 level your spells will land more often for full effect. You can also wear armor with a couple of feats. With a mithral breastplate you would have a 5% with armor proficiency and spell failure redcution. You have some good stuff in here(restrictions on teleport and res and a few other things), but overall too much breaks the game a little.
