You probably already knows Something Positive, but in the off chance you don't, don't miss these two fine and eminently usable creatures from this fine comic. 
More seriously, if Randy Milholand continue it, there may be ideas to take from the New Gold Dream spinoff. There's also frequent descriptions of D&D campaigns, but they aren't very serious.
