A couple questions that I didn't feel warranted a new thread so I'll put them on this one. Especially since one is about polearm tripping.
I recieved my phb and dmg 3.5 today and I was reading through them and got these two points I'm not sure about.
1st: If I have a polearm that can trip, ie a guisarme, do I get a +4 since it is a Large weapon? The information they have makes me unsure. And some of the unsuredness comes from my next question and how it has "changed" from 3.0 to 3.5
2nd: When disarming, in 3.0, with a polearm you'd have gotten +4 because it was large, and another +4 because it was two handed. Now in 3.5 they mention the two handed +4, mention light weapons get a -4, and then say something that I think is making me question myself. That is they say about the combatants sizes getting a +4/-4 depending on each step away from medium.
Thoughts?

p.s. They also don't mention that a monk using both hands should be considered medium, from Sword and Fist. I kinda wish they had thrown that in there just in case
