Poll for Worst Class for 3.0 or 3.5

What is your worst class in 3e?

  • Barbarian

    Votes: 13 5.8%
  • Bard

    Votes: 60 26.8%
  • Cleric

    Votes: 6 2.7%
  • Druid

    Votes: 17 7.6%
  • Fighter

    Votes: 6 2.7%
  • Monk

    Votes: 37 16.5%
  • Paladin

    Votes: 12 5.4%
  • Ranger

    Votes: 37 16.5%
  • Rogue

    Votes: 0 0.0%
  • Sorcerer

    Votes: 29 12.9%
  • Wizard

    Votes: 7 3.1%

It's interesting to note that while the Rogue isn't everyone's favorite, nobody hates the rogue. After all these votes, the Rogue holds the top of the heap for having absolutely no votes for being the worst case.

And hey, I like rogues. Particularly since I'm really damn mean with playing them. Nobody handles a d6 like I do, and rogues are all about the d6.

Well thx for the votes and I'm quite shocked that the druid picked up 6 votes and even the wizard getting a couple. I'm not at all shocked for the top 3 as stated previously and think that those 3 classes will be looked over in my campaign. Maybe dropping the monk as they really are for oriental adventures in my opinion.

I didn't vote in your poll because I like all the classes, for various reasons. I refuse to subscribe to the whiny clap-trap perpetuated on these boards regarding certain classes. No class is useless, and I can say that with confidence because I've played them all at this point. Some of the oft-complained about classes (bard, druid) are my favorites.

3.0 Sorcerer... weak silly and lame

3.5 Wizard... why bother your feats, spells, and items are nerfed while every other class made grounds forward in power.

3.5 Wizard/duh Gimpage

Really? The cleric got more powerful? And what items were nerfed, other than vorpal?

Anyway: 3.0 - ranger, monk, probably bard.
3.5: ranger is nearly perfect (I'm ditching the combat styles however), monk looks like it still gets random ki abilities. I vote monk.

Hmm, like all the classes, but annoyed that every rogue seems to take a single level in Ranger to get all the cool stuff. 3.5 fixes that at least a bit, so...

And I really like Bards, if you are in a roleplay/social skill heavy gome they can kick serious diplomatic buttock!

The Auld Grump, though when it comes to classes suddenly being worth playing with 3.0 the rogue gets my biggest thumbs up!

I voted ranger for 3rd edition.

I have no idea why there are so many votes for bard. They're easily one of the best multi-classing choices in the game, if not the best class to take only a few levels of.

Monks should not be a core class. They should be consigned to the Oriental Adventures book and stop messing up a clear European fantasy genre game with their incongruity.

...saves me the effort of writing my own post :)

And Ranger isn't for that very same reason?
