What happens to the vampire?

Can a person in gaseous form move through an enemy's square? I don't deny they'd provoke an attack of opportunity, but is it possible to move through them, or are they trapped in? I'd think by raw, there's nothing in the spell that says they can...but consider:

A vampire is killed in a room with a low ceiling with 8 opponents (say players, animal companions, familiars, etc) surrounding them (all 8 squares around them).

The ceiling and floor offer no way out (there are not cracks immediately above or below them and the ceiling is low enough that there is no square above the players and threatening creatures).

The only way out of the room to get to the vamp's coffin is to move through an square occupied by an opponent.

Please don't format your text with black colour, it's unnecessary at best and makes it near impossible to read on the night mode at worst.

Yes, I can see the text now!
Polls just don't work on the app afaik.

I would rule yes, in the same way a tiny creature can move through another's square so should an insubstantial creature be able to.

Yes, it can move unless the 8 characters are polymorphed into gelatinous cubes or other creature that has a special ability preventing movement through its square.

The spell allows you to pass through "Mere cracks" so I would say yes. I will also agree with Celebrim that a creature that completely takes up its square would prevent movement, such as a gelatinous cube.

Its movement would also be impeded if you could surrounded it with liquid (some sort of wall of water?) or if you had something like Wind Wall cast.
