Poll of Polls

What is your relationship with polls, particularly ones about D&D?

Not sure what to say here, other than I didn't vote in this poll but do vote in various others...

I'm interested to see what these ideas are that mearls has taken from the forums...if they never see the light of day (or when they do) let us know what they are/were, will ya? :)

...outsid3r

LOL!

Outsid3r is as funny as Cab4l!

I can see these popping up in future threads and posts.

and...

Damn, I keep running out of XP to give or have to spread it out more. Someone ought to give out blanket XP for you guys on this thread. Even my wife was laughing at this thread (she was especially laughing at the ones who just don't get that it's a joke - well, mostly a joke:o).

The thing is, because their strange magics (new edition) are still in their infancy, the Cab4lists are still relatively low level. Unfortunately for them the Outsid3rs are all almost epic.

Reading historical texts (old threads) it can be seen that we Cab4lists are an overconfident bunch, so when we cast our magics (write a thread with inflammatory 3e hating title) in an attempt to summon and tame an Outsid3r, it often backfires when we try to charm (convince them 4e is the true D&D) and subdue them, and they retaliate with a nova of 3.x magics. Spiritual (edition) wars ensue, with flames and poison.

Sometimes the Gods (moderators) themselves come down to put out the fires and stop the madness, but often enough, they let us solve our own conflicts.

Though we often receive as many (or more) wounds as we inflict, Cab4lists can be deceptively resilient.

That is because we cab4lists are rubber, and outsid3rs are glue. Whatever they say, bounces off of us, and sticks to them. Unless it's a good thing, in which case it still sticks to us. Nya nya.

Thus spoke the prophet.

47 people will not vote in this poll, according to the current poll results.

HA! This trick is full fail. Where is the whale?

I'm not sure what the OP intended but it seems like a lot of posters haven't taken this poll seriously. I wish people would take this poll seriously because I think even unscientific polls provide useful insight in aggregate. Wizards of the Coast doesn't allow polls on their forums and I use their boards less because of it.
