Complaining about PS:T combat is a bit odd when there's only
people that need to be killed (as far as I can remember).
Anyways, you can select a party member, pause the game, issue a command for that party member, unpause, select next party member, pause, etc. A little slow if you want to micromanage every action, but not undoable.
