[Poly] World War II Mini-Game

My 2 suggestions for a mini game

Star Frontiers

and

Boot Hill

Hope that helps.

Then I could play my Drasalite Apache Chief I have been dreaming up :p

If I see lots of requests for specific Mini-Games (like, say, Gamma World or Dark Matter), I'll pull my magic editor strings to provide those games.

Out of curiosity, though, what sorts of Mini-Games would you personally prefer to see?

Yes! I'd love to see a d20 Modern Dark Matter mini-game more than anything in the world!

I'm in favour of the Steampunk and wuxia/street-fighter-dee-two-zero ideas.

I think it would be pretty easy running a StarGate type game with just the d20 Modern rulebook.

Isn't it Bruce Baugh who's talked about wanting to do a "Buckaroo Banzai" - inspired game set in the eighties?

"New Wave Heroes" or something like that?

Call the man, Erik. I'll buy ten copies if you have rules for breakdance fighting...

I'd like to second the vote for a serial space-opera type setting--the roots of star wars as I think somebody else put it.

I'm a big fan of the pulp heroes game, and I'm looking forward to the WWII minigame...one more way to convert from Pinnacle's wierd wars.

How about some Sherlock Holmes style mystery--I know that most of us aren't Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, but as a GM, it'd be fun (if difficult) to run a group of PCs against their own Moriarty....

And what about a conversion of the Crimson Skies videogame from a couple years back? Air Pirates, etc. Kinda like disney's tailspin cartoon, but without all the animal races...It'd mesh well with the tech level of WWII, and the style of Pulp Heroes...and I don't think anybody has done it yet....

Just some ideas....

Since you asked, which is quite cool that you are actually willing to ask us what WE want to see instead of what you just want to produce:

Dark Matter...this has been practically begged for ever since 3rd edition came out and alternity got cancelled for a true d20 conversion. I know we could use shadow chasers, but its just not the same thing than a true to form d20 Dark Matter.

A good Steampunk d20 setting. That has not been done for d20 as of right now, and I know a lot more people would like that than a world war 2 minigame.

As for your ww2 minigame, I do agree with the other person who said that it will be a good replacement for Pinnacle's wierd wars setting.

A true to form space opera game that is not Star Wars. Magic is optional. Your Mecha game was really cool by the way.

A street fighter/mortal kombat type of game with rules for killing finishing moves and awesome combo's.

A remake of Planescape, now that would be cool also.

Adventures for other established mini-games that you have already written, but not for thunderball ralley. If you wrote a side trek adventure for a previous mini-game every once in a while, perhaps every other issue, then we would see some support for
them, even small support, and I think that would be good.

Or just write up some adventures for other established books, some of which are listed below, once a year instead of a mini-game. We don't need a mini-game each issuee, and if you had one issue where we get one adventure for Call of Cthulu, one for Star Wars, one for Dragonstar, one for Wheel of Time, even if they are simple side treks, then all of us who like these games would feel really appreciated that you took the time to think about the fans for all these worlds also.

Woo-hoo!

hey Erik, keep up the good work, as for mini games (or settings as i prefer to call them) Dark Matter, Star*Drive and Gothic Earth/Masque of the Red Death would go down nicely, and apparently several people at the Kargatane website agrees with me on the Dark Matter choice:D

as they proberly will with the Gothic Earth choice as well:D :D
