Polymorph + Enlarge Person?

If an humanoid is under the effects of a Polymorph spell and therefore in a drastically different creature form, can the humanoid still be the recipient of the Enlarge Person spell?

If you're still Humanoid after Polymorph, I'd let it slide.
If you Polymorph into a Brown Bear, I'd probably laugh a little and call you silly, then say no.

What Sekmet said. Polymorph does change your creature type. Wildshape was errata'd to not change your type, but Polymorph was not.

Yes, I know. Polymorph doesn't need to be more broken (Thanks for the patented sarcasm Dandu, "Rays of Sunshine"tm), blah blah. I'm asking mechanical questions, to better understand spell effects.

No, but polymorph renders the enlarge person effect irrelevant (PHB, page 172).
