D&D (2024) True Polymorph now confers permanent muteness

If it had not been corrected, than you would be Ariel from the Little Mermaid, unable to speak after being Polymorphed into a human.

It has not been corrected, so yes, anyone who is True Polymorphed is like Ariel.

The muteness part has not been corrected. Only the temporary HP part has.

Yes, that's fine. The issue with the spell was that it ended when the THP were depleted. That sentence has now been removed, so the spell continues to last even after the THP are gone.

Pretty much. The goal was to change just enough to sell all the same books again. Yet somehow they still screwed it up

Right. Yes. ~10 relatively minor issues is a major screw-up!

EDIT: The only big screw-up for me is the ranger. It still boggles my mind how they managed to make it both better and worse at the same time!
