Polymorph to Umber Hulk

If a caster polymorphs into an Umber Hulk, can he then use the creature's Burrowing ability? It's not listed as a Supernatural or Extraordinary ability, so the mage feels he could do it.

Yes, he can. It is part of the UHs physical and natural abilities.

It's a great choice. I believe the wizard in Wulf Ratbane's story hour uses it to great effect.

As a player its been a favorite for about a decade now, Umber Hulk and Margoyle are just very useful (even in 2e).
