Possibly dumb poll: Playing vs. Running D&D Editions

Well, it's my poll, so I might as well list out mine.

I'd play in anything. Seriously, I'd love a chance to play some oldschool stuff. And, amazingly enough, I have never gotten to be on the Player side of 3e/3.5e for anything except a few poorly-run sessions.

I feel comfortable DMing 4e. I think I'd feel comfortable DMing 1e, too, with some prep-work. After some consideration, I'd run 3.5 again, if that's all my group would play. I'd rather run 4e, though.

I voted play 3.5 or run 3.5. However, there are caveats.

Playing would actually depend on the house rules and supplements being used.

Running would involve house rules, third party material and, other than Unearthed Arcana, very little in terms of WOTC supplements.

Time constraints only allow me to do one, and only on a bi-weekly basis.

So that would be either play 3.5 or DM 3.5. (I currently DM 3.5.)

I was kinda ignoring time constraints - just, you know, given limitless time and a willing group.

Ditto. Whether I want to play is more governed by the group and general pitch for the campaign than on exactly what ruleset we are using.
