Sorry for the late reply. I'm finally able to receive emails from enworld, but they seem to be a few days late
Anyway, the setting is very open yet diverse so you can customize it to your own needs. You've got the Wastes and Roads where mutants reside (perfect for Mad Max adventures), the Wilds where sentient animals reside (Planet of the Apes), Metal Cities where sentient machines once resided (Terminator), Lazar Pits where the Rejects and plague-bearers are sentenced by the Pures, Undervalleys where you can pretty much play Lost World stories, Icy Wastes, Swaying Cities where the remnants of the corporations fight for supremacy of the stalks at sea (perfect for Waterworld), the Wild Islands with dinosaurs (Jurassic Park), and a few other regions.
It's pretty generic so that you can make each region your own as you use them, but the included scenarios give plenty of insight into how the regions can be utilized. The Enhancement Pack adds two new regions, one including a new demonic infection with beasties to go with it.
You can portray Pure Humans, Mutants, Infected Rejects, Robotic Humans, Cybernetic Mutants, Evolved Animals (from a selection or create your own; there are new ones on the web site's collaborative), or aliens (from HardNova 2 perhaps).
You can use it as a series of one-shots or for extended play.
Hope that helps.
