Post count- whats the big deal?

Yet I still hardly post, mainly because everyone else makes my points for me.

QFT

========

See, what I did up there is an example of how to make your point again, add to post count, but really strengthen the argument that you agree with. The server requires a minimum of three characters for a post to be valid. So, when someone else makes a post you think worthy, you can use QFT!

I'm not being completely "post-count stupid" here. This actually has a valid purpose in the rules and general forum. often the threads in those areas get so focused on side arguments that a simple QFT can highlight important parts and bring people back to the real purpose of the thread. It strengthens arguments by adding one more voice to a side without actually making people reread the same idea with different words.

I see these threads about people finally having X number of posts or "I'm finally X level" but I don't get it. Why is it important to you to have a post count of X? Doesn't it just prove that you have no life away from gaming and posting on EN World?

Personally I think its more impressive to have been a member for four years and have 200 posts, it proves that you have other things that keep you busy in life- like maybe showering, or getting out of your parents basement, or going to the gym, or I don't know- anything else.

:D One more post towards my 3rd level!

Well said, bro.

Congratulations on insulting about half of the board's population in one paragraph. :p

:cool: I think most think of my presence as an insult (I know my parents do).

Whole thread is kinda a joke, but also kinda serious- why is it important to so many Posters to have a high count? When EN crashed last year there was a bunch of people that seemed annoyed they they had lost numbers, more so then threads that were lost. It just seems odd.

Take life for what its worth, cause it ante worth much 'til you find something that makes it worth while. :D

Harmon,

It used to matter...Now that I'm at the bottom, not so much.

But I'm glad to be back and I don't plan on leaving! Ever! Scary things exist outside of En World!

Not sure I understand why it would matters but it does to some of you so I can respect that.

As far as scary off EN- ya, I agree, my daughter isn't on EN, she scares the hell out of me, real life- yep, terrified of it, but you know what? Life is why we are here- on this planet, we need to live it too. :\
