I am almost certainly going 4e. I'll buy the Player's Handbook, at least, and try a few games. If I don't like it, I will play something else. However, there is very little I've heard about 4e that I feel negatively about, so I can guess with some confidence that 4e will be taking 3.5's place as my system-of-choice.
I'm getting 4e as soon as possible. In fact, my whole group (all longtime D&D players) is pretty stoked about the new rules and flavor changes. We're currently finishing our old campaign and even inserted some 4eish house rules.
