D&D 5E Post your oldest PC!

Ugh. Even as a kid, I hated DMs who pulled crap like that. "You run into the door. You didn't say you opened it before going through."

Choke on a d4, tinpot.

He was my older brother, so I think he felt it was his job to be a jerk lol. This is the same guy, who when playing a game like Risk, would control the entire board but leave me in one or two countries, surround me with armies, and never attack. When I finally quit, he would call me a quitter lol

Yeah, my brother was indeed quite the jerk when we were younger lol

Fun thread! My character sheets circa 1994 are in boxes states away, but my first D&D character was an elven bladesinger named Elkar.

:)

Speaking of "eaten by ghouls," am I the only one who's still miffed we never found out what happened to the "example of play" party in the 1E DMG? ;)

I’ll have to dig him, out, but I still have Shasak the Magic-User, a 30+ year-old character from when I was in 4th grade. My handwriting is marginally better, but thankfully, my spelling is greatly improved. I took a look recently and was aghast to see the word “boanus” written on it.

The original 1974 post of Mordenkainen got my curiosity up. This is one of my oldest PCs. And one of my favorites. I found this character sheet in one of my old AD&D books. I'm guessing it was from 1982 or so. And no, my handwriting hasn't improved at all.

LOL, when I started playing at age 7 (and lasted until probably age 9), I kept spelling and pronouncing words like "alg-a-ment" for alignment, and "orge" instead of "ogre"
