Of course it's ridiculous and impossible to implement. But my point stands that quantity doesn't equal quality. However, as useless as it is, high post count does get attention, even though it's easy to inflate one's postcount with inane banter.

Any reputation system will invaribly lead to some kind of elitism, veiled or not. That's just the way of the internet.

Quantity can still be an amount of quality. Say, someone has a busy life and can't hang around long, so he posts as much of an adventure as he is able. And later some more, etc.
