Sure, most of the story hours are actually write ups of games so there are a lot of them that actually use modules, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, Planescape, etc.

Look at the story hours that are popular with readers - usually anything by Barsoomcore and piratecat are regarded as well written, but if you are writing the usual rules of fiction apply - keep the readers interest mainly.
 

As far as paragraphs go, it's generally best to separate each new paragraph with a blank line, rather than just indenting the first line of each new paragraph like you would for, say, a newspaper article. On a computer screen, it's much easier to read if you have that blank line between paragraphs.
