Power Attack and BAB

When you decide to power attack does the damage bonus relate to your BAB if make multiple attacks that round?

Such as a BAB of +20/+15+/+10+5

would your power attack be +20/+15/+10/+5 or +20 for each of the 4 attacks?

Also, if you have a speed weapon or are hasted does that extra attack get the +20?

Say what!?! Where the heck is the bonus!?! +20 for each!?! What? Huh?

It's the same bonus to damage for all attacks. i.e. If you Power Attack for 5 points, then each attack gets a +5 to the damage.

Of course, if a fighter with a +20 BAB spent 20 pts. on Power Attack, that'd leave him with something like a +8 or so to hit on the first attack, and worse and worse after that. He'd get +20 to damage on every hit, but only hit on a 20 each time. :p

Not really...

Take the +10 for a 30 STR
Take the +5 for the +5 Great Sword

and you still have +15 to hit...

Againt a 20 AC monster type I would take those odds for +20 to damage PER HIT.

Okay, I didn't figure in a magic weapon. Taking your example, the fighter would fight at +15/+10/+5/+0 So the percentages are 75%/50%/25%/5% (roughly) for an extra 20 damage per hit. Perhaps it's worth it after all.

A few questions: at 20th-level, what sorts of enemies (that are worth XP) are going to have an AC of 20? Also, of the enemies that have the 20 AC, how many of them are going to require more than the usual 2d6+22 (or more) damage the fighter can dish out on a normal hit anyway?

Of course! How the hell could I have missed a 30 strength and a +5 greatsword?! Dude? You might wanna mention that next time.
