Interesting question has come up and I'm not sure how it should work so any help would be appreciated.
I have a player who is looking at applying the Half-Ogre template (Dragon 313, p 96) to a Goliath.
Since a Goliath is considered a medium creature the template says he grows to large gaining all the benefits and penalties of being large (ie: +4 strength, -1 AC, -1 Attack, -4 Hide, +4 grapple, etc) in addition to the +4 str the template grants.
The question is whether the Powerful Build feature from Goliath would still be effective as a racial trait now that he would be large? Does this mean he can now wield huge weapons as if they were sized for him, and gain a bonus another +4 bonus on abilities like grapple, bullrush, and swallow whole?
