Powerful Races and Beginning XP

Incidentally:
I just noticed that the 3.5 SRD lists drows' stat modifiers as +2 Int, +2 Cha only. Is that a typo, or did they drop the -2 Con, +2 Dex for 3.5?

These are in addition to the standard elf modifiers. Note that the other subraces have the line "These adjustments replace the high elf ?s ability score adjustments." attached.

Well, that explains it, although it still isn't totally clear since some of the other sub-races still list the +2 Dex.

Still, I retract my passive-aggressive rant.

It is clear: Those races that have totally different adjustments have the above-mentioned line attached. If a sub-race has the same adjustments as the master-race and then some, they'll only post the new stuff.
